HONORABLE BILL GOODSON, FORMER MAYOR CITY OF WHITEWRIGHT, TEXAS
Former Mayor, Honorable Bill Goodson, has served the Grayson
County Area and the City of Whitewright, Texas for nearly three
decades. As a children's advocate and lover of people, Bill
Goodson has served on approximately 20 plus boards and committees.
Bill is an avid community leader with many years of experience. He is a
United States veteran who has served through the tough strides of America's war and is now a retired Sergeant Major
veteran.
He
holds degrees in business management, Pharmacology, and is a former
master electrician and military communications specialist. He was a
former sports journalist and radio host for KNOK-AM Dallas, a columnist
for the Dallas Express, and the editor and founder of the Southwest
Sporting News.
Bill
Goodson is one of the original Atlanta Black Crackers in baseball and
his short-lived professional sporting career led him to play for the
Chicago Cubs just before being called into the United States Armed
Forces.
Bill Goodson is a cancer survivor with a great testimony and still faithfully serves the Grayson County area. He is married to
Narda Goodson where they both serve as Team Goodson in the North Texas Region.
